How Can You Help?
Volunteer
At NEHI, Inc., volunteers are needed for a variety of activities. Projects requiring rehabilitation can be done using volunteer labor or goods (must be approved by NEHI, Inc. staff). NEHI, Inc. also accepts donations of new or gently used household items to assist our home buyers get started in their new homes.
Volunteers are also needed for fundraising events. NEHI, Inc. holds a Wine and Beer Tasting fundraiser every year on the first Saturday of November. The event has grown over the past few years requiring more help with decorating, food prep, wine/beer pouring, and promotions.

The overall organization is overseen by the Board of Directors. The seven person board is responsible for approval of projects, financial review, and ensures staff and volunteers act legally and ethically. The Board meets monthly at the NEHI, Inc. office located in Allen, NE.
